APF Consulting, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This document explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, purchase digital products, or participate in our in-person or online training programs.

This Privacy Policy covers how we handle your information. For the terms governing your use of our website and training services, including liability and course-specific disclaimers, see our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Personal information — name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, payment details, and other identifiers you provide when purchasing products, registering for training, or contacting us.

• Training information — attendance records, certification status, course completion results, and feedback surveys for CPR classes, forklift training, CCW courses, or other programs.

• Digital product access data — login credentials, download history, and activity logs related to access and use of our digital products and online courses.

• Technical information — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and usage data automatically collected when you visit our website.

• Cookies & tracking data — we may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience and understand how visitors interact with our site.

• Biometric information (LiveScan fingerprinting) — see Section 4 below. This is a separate, more sensitive category of information and is handled differently from the categories above.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect to:

• Process and manage product purchases, payments, and course registrations.

• Provide, operate, and improve our website, services, and training programs.

• Issue training certificates, compliance documentation, or proof of course completion.

• Grant and manage access to purchased digital products, downloads, and online courses.

• Monitor for unauthorized sharing, duplication, or misuse of digital materials.

• Communicate with you about upcoming courses, new products, or updates, if you opt in.

• Comply with legal obligations, including tax, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Protect against fraud, unauthorized transactions, and misuse of our services.

Payments. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit or debit card number on our own systems.

3. Digital Products & Online Course Privacy

When you purchase a digital product, download content, or access an online course from APF Consulting, LLC:

• License & access — you're granted a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the purchased material. Sharing login credentials, reselling, or redistributing content is strictly prohibited.

• Monitoring & enforcement — we may track downloads, logins, and usage activity to detect unauthorized access or sharing. If misuse is detected, we reserve the right to suspend or revoke access without refund.

• Third-party platforms — some digital content may be hosted or delivered through third-party platforms, such as learning management systems or file distribution services. These platforms may collect and process limited user information under their own privacy policies.

• Support & updates — we may use your contact details to send product updates, corrections, or important information related to your purchased content.

4. LiveScan & Biometric Data

Our mobile LiveScan fingerprinting service is coming soon. Fingerprint and other biometric data is sensitive, and we take a narrower approach to it than to the general information described above:

• Fingerprint images are collected solely to submit your background check request to the California Department of Justice and/or FBI, as required for the applicable licensing, employment, or certification purpose.

• We do not sell your biometric data, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond completing your requested submission.

• We do not retain a copy of your fingerprint images beyond what is required to complete that submission, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

This section will be finalized and updated with complete retention and handling details before LiveScan services go live.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information, including biometric data. We may share limited information only in the following cases:

• Service providers — with trusted third parties who help us process payments, deliver digital products, or support training administration.

• Legal compliance — if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government regulation.

• Training & license verification — with employers, regulatory agencies, or accrediting bodies (including the California DOJ or FBI for LiveScan submissions) when certification or license verification is necessary.

• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, your information may be included as part of that transaction.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights such as the ability to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to opt out of marketing communications, under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act. Not every provision of these laws applies to a business of our size, but we will honor reasonable requests where we're able to. 8. Children's Privacy

Our training programs and services are intended for adults. CCW courses require applicants to be at least 21 years old under California law; our other programs are generally intended for individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites that are not under our control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external websites, and including a link does not imply our endorsement of it.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
